Sarus Math is built for students juggling work and class — including students on a second attempt. Retaking a math class at a community college doesn’t cost much money — that’s the good news. Here’s what it actually costs: another sixteen weeks of your life, a degree or transfer pushed back a full semester, and one more of your limited attempts spent. California community colleges generally allow three attempts at a course. If you’re on your second, this is the semester that decides things.

- Cancel or reschedule 24+ hours ahead and your credit returns to your balance.
- Cancel within 24 hours and the credit is used — except once per semester, when we’ll waive it, no questions asked.
- If you haven’t arrived or messaged 15 minutes into your session, it’s marked a no-show and the credit is used.
- Running a few minutes late? We’ll still meet — the session ends at its scheduled time.
- If your tutor is more than 10 minutes late or has to cancel, your credit comes straight back — and you get first pick of makeup times before they open to anyone else.
- Sessions can be booked up to a week ahead and need at least 4 hours’ notice.
